This week, we will be featuring Danielle Levy as our intern spotlight!
Danielle is from Southern California and is a recent graduate of UC Davis with a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Science and Management. During her free time she enjoys bike riding, hiking, and exploring new cities while eating unique food. Danielle chose to intern at Seaside Sustainability because she wanted to be able to make a difference in the environment from another perspective other than research and science. There are many places that focus on the scientific aspects of sustainability, but Seaside Sustainability is unique in that you can focus on education, legislation, development and even business while still making an impact.
Danielle is currently the Human Resources fellow and one of the Intern Directors here at Seaside Sustainability. She works on the onboarding and applications process for new interns and helps to facilitate communications both internally throughout the organization and externally to potential applicants. Danielle also works to help ensure the internship runs smoothly and all interns have their most enjoyable and educational experience. Her favorite part about Seaside Sustainability is how passionate and dedicated everyone is here. All of the interns inspire her every day with how hard they are working to make a difference in the world.
Danielle plans to hopefully get into graduate school in the next few months and get her MBA with a focus in sustainability and corporate social responsibility. She plans to dedicate her life to uniting people, planet and profit for a more sustainable corporate world. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication, Danielle!
