Graham McOsker is the focus of this week’s Intern Spotlight! Graham graduated from Hamilton College this spring with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and a focus division in Economics. Hailing from Norwell, Massachusetts, he spent last summer working for a nonprofit organization called Barnstable Clean Water Coalition where he took part in efforts to restore and preserve clean water, and has since brought that knowledge to Seaside Sustainability.
He chose to work at Seaside Sustainability in order to provide meaningful environmental services to the community and gain valuable skills and experience as he takes the next step in his career. He is glad to have contributed to multiple initiatives and developed a well-rounded environmental background.
He has been an essential member of both the Grants and Legislation teams. Graham has enjoyed working on meaningful projects with such passionate and enthusiastic team members to support his work. Not only has he gained valuable skills, but he has also expanded his knowledge of current issues in the environmental realm. His time with Seaside Sustainability has reaffirmed the career path he wants to take and given him an appreciation for the initiatives taking place to combat the issues that put our oceans and environment most at risk.
Upon completion of his internship, Graham plans to continue combining his passion for the environment with his work. He hopes to pursue a career in ESG advising or environmental policy. There is no doubt that the skills he has acquired during his time here and beyond will help him reach those goals.
Thank you for all of your hard work Graham!
