This week’s intern spotlight is Samantha Baclig!
Samantha is a high school senior from Fullerton, California attending Rosary Academy. She is passionate about youth-led climate change advocacy and volunteers at her local children's science museum. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer and embroidering. When she graduates and heads to college next year, Samantha hopes to major in environmental science.
Samantha chose to intern for Seaside Sustainability because of the emphasis on providing educational opportunities for youth to learn how to protect their environment. As someone who has been involved in advocacy from such a young age, she hopes to see more students follow in her footsteps.
